[25 May 2008] Build: 78 (released: 2008-05-25)
The most notable change in this build is the introduction of the Transport Stream Monitor (TSM), to replace the existing PID Scanner. You can find TSM under the Tools menu in the new build.
TSM scans the MPEG/DVB signal in real-time, updating the screen controls to reflect the data being read in the transport stream almost immediately. It provides the following features, of which you can find screenshots by clicking here.
- Full parsing of PAT, PMT, CAT, NIT, SDT, BAT, TOT, TDT and EIT PSI/SI tables;
- Summary of services on current MUX including key parameters;
- Logging of MPEG2 A/V, H.264 and AC3 elementary stream key parameters;
- Summary of services on other MUXes;
- List of MUXes from NIT including key parameters;
- Summary of CA (EMM/ECM) information including key parameters.
The following features are available in DVBStreamExplorer Professional Edition only:
- Full parsing of MHP Application Information Tables (AIT), ref. TS 101 812;
