[19 Aug 2008] Build: 79 (released: 2008-08-19)
In this build, improvements to the DSMCC analyzer were made, as detailed below. Application logging is now configurable, and some issues causing problems were fixed. Furthermore, legacy support for older hardware has been removed, while specific devices are now supported only through the BDA driver. If you are using one of these devices, make sure you select BDA when requested for your device driver, or change your driver from "Device->Driver selection".
- DSMCC: Displaying some values in both decimal and hexadecimal notation.
- DSMCC: Parsing DII ModuleInfo. NOTE: Descriptors in UserInfo are not yet parsed. The raw content of UserInfo is shown.
- Added option to configure logging. This can be found in preferences in options menu.
- Log files are now by default saved to the user's profile folder. This means that DVBStreamExplorer can now be run under accounts without administrator priviliges without causing problems, and provides better support for Windows Vista.
- Removed support for Twinhan, DVBWorld, TT Premium, TT Budget and TT USB WDM drivers.
- Twinhan, DVBWorld, TT Budget and TT Connect (USB2) are now supported only with BDA driver.
- TT Premium and TT-Connect (USB1.1) are no longer supported.
- FIX: Parental rating and component descriptors were not displayed correctly.
- FIX: DSMCC analyzer could crash on certain invalid streams.
It is recommended that you uninstall previous version of DVBSE and delete DVBStreamExplorer application folder from your Program Files folder before installing this version.
