The cable list manager manages the MUXes available for SI scanning and in tuning
dialog box. The cable list manager main dialog box is shown below.
Note
Before you can use the application, you must configure at least one cable MUX here.
In the DVB-C MUX list manager dialog you can:
- Add MUX
- Edit MUX
- Delete MUX
- Scan for MUXes in your cable
signal
To add a MUX fill in the parameters in the dialog and press OK button. NID and TSID
should be the values for the transport stream on the transponder. It is important
to enter a unique combination not already in the list.
To edit an existing MUX click on to select it. Edit the required parameters and
press the OK button.
To delete one or more MUX(es) select the MUX(es) in the list and press delete button.
This will allow you to scan your DVB-C signal for available MUXes and populate the
DVB-C MUX list manager automatically. It uses progressive tuning on standard or
custom frequencies, adding MUX entries automatically when a signal is locked.
To scan standard frequencies, select 'Standard frequencies'. To scan custom frequencies,
select 'Custom band scan', set a start frequency, a frequency step (e.g. 8000kHz),
and an end frequency. Other parameters will vary according to your signal provider.
Note
This can be a lengthy operation.
