DVBStreamExplorer is an MPEG-2 / DVB Transport Stream analyzer. It supports one-shot analysis of live DVB streams, but also incorporates a real-time monitor that can analyze a DVB signal in real time. These features require a DVB-S, DVB-T or DVB-C receiver card. DVBStreamExplorer can also analyze a recorded transport stream off-line, and has limited support for ATSC scanning.

It will be assumed that the reader has working knowledge about MPEG-2 / DVB Transport Streams. You should be familar with the concepts documented in ISO 13818-1, ETSI EN 300 468 and other DVB related standard documents.
